CTRL+CREATE is a six-episode animated short series following Dayo Afolabi — a 27-year-old creative director running a scrappy Lagos studio inside Yaba Tech Hub. Across six tightly told episodes, Dayo navigates impossible client briefs, concept theft, power cuts, acquisition offers, and the quiet moment when he has to ask himself what he actually came to build.
The series is built on a cinematic 3D toon-shaded pipeline, between Pixar Soul and Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse in visual register, produced using an AI-augmented production workflow and grounded in the textures, sounds, and contradictions of Lagos street culture. It is the first animated series to centre the lived experience of African tech creatives with the same production ambition typically reserved for global studio output.
